To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Diana Weir for any opportunity that allows her to continue the important, life-changing work she does with students. As a parent of a Dyslexic child, I have had the privilege of watching my daughter grow not only in her reading skills but also in her confidence and joy because of her time spent with Diana.
From the very beginning, Diana approached her work with professionalism, warmth, and a deep understanding of the science of reading. She has an extraordinary ability to meet a child exactly where they are and guide them forward with skill, patience, and compassion. It is clear that she does not just teach reading—she builds relationships, nurtures confidence, and inspires a love for learning.
What stands out most is the connection she formed with my daughter. Their time together became something my daughter genuinely looks forward to—something that speaks volumes about Diana's approach. It takes a very special person to turn something that once felt very hard into something a child can enjoy and feel proud of. Her heart for this work is evident in everything she does.
In a world where education can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, Diana is a reminder that at the core of learning is human connection. She often goes above and beyond collaborating with colleagues to personalize her approach and lesson plan for our daughter. She is a rare and remarkable educator, and any student would be lucky to have her support.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like to speak further about our experience. I recommend her fully and without reservation.
Kind regards,
Wendy Gallo

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
June 24, 2025
I am pleased to recommend Diana Weir as an experienced and passionate literacy tutor. My son, Dane and I worked closely with Diana for many months. I can confidently attest to her professionalism and proficiency.
Diana worked seamlessly with Dane, keeping him engaged throughout our sessions together. l was able to sit in on the sessions so l could provide more assistance at home. After each session books and activities were provided for us to continue our practice at home. Dane began Diana's sessions below grade level and after working diligently all summer he started third-grade feeling confident. He progressed beautifully throughout his third-grade year and is at grade level currently. Without the foundation that Diana provided I do not feel Dane would have had such success. We are very grateful and check back in for at home review material from time to time.
I am confident that Diana Weir would be a valuable asset for any child struggling with reading, writing, and spelling.
Warm Regards,
Sara Walker

Letter of Recommendation for Diana Weir
To whom it may concern:As a professional educator for 41 years, I know from personal experience the impact a teacher can have on a student’s life. Diana Weir is a skilled, thoughtful, passionate teacher whose only objective is to have each student blossom to his/her full potential. Ms. Weir is most energized and experienced at teaching reading, linguistics, spelling, and writing. She uses scientifically researched and proven methods of instruction and assessment. Her materials and methods are state of the art, but equally important, she empowers the child by explaining what they are learning and doing and why it is done this way. She does all this with kindness, gentleness, and soft humor Ms. Weir gives the gift of empowerment to the student and the student’s family. Students leave with confidence in themselves and their abilities.
I had her work with my second-grade grandson. I was noticing things behaviors such as his reluctance to read, his not wanting to sound out words or attempting to phonetically spelling and guessing at words. Ms. Weir creates a child centered, warm and relaxing environment. She gently assesses where the student is currently performing. She makes a student specific plan to develop the skills the child needs. My grandson looked forward to every session! Within three months he had made amazing progress.
Diana includes the parents, or grandparents, in her instruction and practice so that 10-15 minutes of “homework” can reinforce and continue to boost the developing skills. I consider these tutoring sessions the gift of self-esteem, confidence, and empowerment. What greater gift can you give a child?
Without hesitation, I fully recommend Diana Weir as a reading and writing tutor. I learned techniques and skills I wish I’d had as a teacher when I was working with students. It is a lifetime investment that will yield great rewards.
With my respect,
Bronwyn Rhoades
